Springwood Bed

This bed design was developed from a clients desire to sit up in bed and read. They requested that the headboard curve to provide a softer backrest. After having the clients come into my shop and sit against a mocked-up curve that I could adjust, the final most comfortable radius was determined. The headboards curved frame and panel elements, combined with the contrast of the stunning Claro Walnut veneer and solid Jatoba wood, provide just enough contemporary flare. Shown in a queen size.
