A dazzling mix of unique materials for a special entryway, behind a sofa or to stand alone as a sculptural piece. The top is stunning figured Oregon myrtle, book-matched and live-edged, it is surrounded in angled wenge with figured shedua end panels. An extra feature to "balance" the subtle asymmetry is an inlayed of wenge and a band of alternating rosewood and maple details. A singular sand-blasted branch of manzanita peeks thru the light gap in the top and rest on a a figured cottonwood panel with some burl figuring. The frame of black walnut also holds a backdrop of a "haystack mountain" in a rare slice of English walnut with figure, sapwood and live-edge bark. A one-of-a-kind. Juried winner "Best in Kitsap" county at the CVG Show 2017!
