School of Fish

In this box full of movement, the doors capture the exhilarating feeling of a school of fish swimming and parting as they move towards you. Some of the fish hover, apparently motionless. The careful placement of fish provides sufficient structure for the door panels. The three dimensional detail and great facial expressions draw the eye in for a closer look. The sea urchin pulls and star burst pattern of figured ash veneer on the top round out the picture.
