Bainbridge Island, WA

This design is based on a drawing I sketched more than a decade ago. At the time I couldn't figure out how to build it. Only this year did it occur to me that the top is essentially a bowl with a lid. It is made, in the style of a bucket, by gluing 16 tapered and flared staves into a form and then turning that form on a lathe to create the round, curved side.
