Hugh's built-in cabinetry often incorporates furniture making techniques that make projects like this one special.
The Art Collector's Display Cases are all about the art work. The lighting from the sides (recessed) and top are special art display lighting. Hugh incorporated a natural updraft venting detail, so that no art work would get over-heated. The adjustable glass shelves have locking shelf connectors that hold them in place. The pullouts behind several of the doors were designed to be re-moveable trays so that small works of art can be brought out easily. The cabinet cases themselves were designed to look like furniture sitting on legs. African Mahogany was the wood of choice, with custom veneered door panels and counter top.
