This tumbled assemblage would be comfortable in the boulder fields found on many Northwest hikes.
The shapes of this Entry Table emerged from my construction vocabulary: the top form, drawn from the Kubista series, sits upon a structural polygram, built with the splined miters of the Akira chair. Both are anchored onto a monolithic, stone like base. The Tumble is both inspired by and a reminder of the torture of descending Aasgard Pass this spring.
