Northwest Fine Woodworking
Curtis Erpelding

In 1980 a group of artisans banded together to create the Northwest Gallery of Fine Woodworking. As pioneers we had the audacious notion that we could actually make a living doing what we loved--designing, creating and working with wood. Thirty years after our inauspicious beginnings we take this opportunity to celebrate our success and to thank all those who made this possible: members and staff both past and present, our loyal customers and a public that has always appreciated and admired our efforts.

I personally want to thank my fellow craftsmen and members of Northwest Fine Woodworking for making this anniversary and celebration possible. It is in the best nature of cooperatives that the support of the group allows the individual to shine. I certainly attribute my growth as a craftsman to that collective example and support .
