Although I am not a
founding member of Northwest Fine Woodworking I joined shortly
after it began, in 1981. I joined when the gallery was still at
the little shop on Jackson St. I helped it grow from that little
store to several stores to the fabulous location we have now on
First and Jackson. I am semi-retired now and live in Arizona so I am not as active in the gallery as I once was but I think the fact that the gallery has survived for 30 years is due to the talent and hard work of the members and the staff both past and present. |

I have made many pieces of
furniture that suggest movement. I enjoy movement because it makes
a piece of furniture flow. I have designed this stool to give
the feeling of fluid movement which makes it unique.
